Overnight Oats with Collagen & Berries

Oats are a traditional galactagogue — and collagen protein adds tissue-repair support you won't even taste.
Ingredients
- ½ cup rolled oats
- ¾ cup full-fat coconut milk or whole milk
- 1 scoop unflavored collagen peptides
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 1 tbsp raw honey or maple syrup
- ½ tsp vanilla, pinch sea salt
- ½ cup fresh or frozen berries
- 1 tbsp almond or sunflower butter
Method
- Whisk collagen into milk until fully dissolved — no clumps.
- Combine oats, chia, honey, vanilla, and salt in a jar. Pour milk mixture over and stir well.
- Cover and refrigerate overnight, at least 6 hours.
- Top with berries and nut butter. Eat cold or briefly warmed.
Prep Ahead: Make 3–4 jars on Sunday. They keep 4 days in the fridge. Your partner can hand you one without a second thought.

Soft Scrambled Eggs with Smoked Salmon & Avocado

Choline-rich eggs + omega-3-dense salmon + healthy fat from avocado. One of the most complete postpartum meals possible.
Ingredients
- 3 pasture-raised eggs
- 1 tbsp butter or ghee
- 2 oz wild-caught smoked salmon
- ½ avocado, sliced
- 1 tbsp full-fat cream cheese (optional)
- Fresh dill or chives
- Sea salt and black pepper
Method
- Whisk eggs with a light pinch of salt and pepper.
- Melt butter in a nonstick pan over the lowest heat possible.
- Add eggs and stir slowly with a silicone spatula, pulling from the edges — about 4–5 minutes. Never rush.
- Remove from heat just before they look fully set. They'll finish on the plate.
- Plate with salmon, sliced avocado, cream cheese, and fresh herbs.
Why Low & Slow? Gentle heat preserves the egg's nutrients and produces silky, nourishing results. Rubbery eggs are not healing food.

Nourishing Banana Protein Smoothie

Ingredients
- 1 frozen banana
- 1 cup whole milk or full-fat coconut milk
- 1 scoop vanilla collagen or protein powder
- 2 tbsp almond butter
- 1 tbsp ground flaxseed
- ½ tsp cinnamon, pinch sea salt
- 1–2 pitted Medjool dates
Method
- Add all ingredients to a blender. Blend on high 45–60 seconds until completely smooth.
- Taste and adjust — more banana for sweetness, more almond butter for richness.
- Pour into a large cup with a wide straw. Drink during a feeding, during rest, or during nothing at all.
Prep Smoothie Bags: Measure and freeze all solid ingredients in individual bags. Dump bag + milk into the blender. Done in 60 seconds.

Savory Egg & Sweet Potato Cups

Bake a dozen on Sunday. Eat them for a week — cold, room temperature, or warmed. No plate needed.
Ingredients
- 8 pasture-raised eggs
- 1 cup sweet potato, cooked and mashed
- ½ cup cooked ground turkey sausage
- ¼ cup feta or goat cheese, crumbled
- 2 cups baby spinach, chopped
- 2 green onions, sliced
- ½ tsp garlic powder, ½ tsp smoked paprika
- Salt + pepper, ghee for greasing
Method
- Preheat oven to 375°F. Grease a 12-cup muffin tin generously with ghee.
- Spoon a thin layer of mashed sweet potato into the bottom of each cup.
- Add sausage, spinach, and green onions evenly among cups.
- Whisk eggs with spices. Pour over fillings to ¾ full. Top with cheese.
- Bake 20–22 minutes until set and lightly golden. Store in fridge 5 days or freeze.
Make It Yours: Swap sausage for sautéed mushrooms, salmon, or shredded chicken. The formula is completely flexible.

Warm Congee with Bone Broth & Soft Egg

In Chinese postpartum tradition, congee is the most restorative food for new mothers. Deeply warming, easy to digest, infinitely nourishing.
Ingredients
- ½ cup white jasmine rice
- 4 cups chicken bone broth
- 1 cup water
- 1-inch fresh ginger, sliced
- 2 garlic cloves, smashed
- 1–2 soft-poached eggs
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- Coconut aminos, green onions, sesame seeds
Method
- Combine rice, broth, water, ginger, and garlic. Bring to a boil.
- Reduce to the lowest simmer. Cook uncovered 40–45 minutes, stirring occasionally, until rice is completely broken down and creamy.
- Boil eggs exactly 6.5 minutes. Transfer to ice water and peel gently.
- Remove ginger and garlic. Serve topped with halved soft egg, sesame oil, and green onions.
Slow Cooker: Combine everything before bed. Cook on low 6–8 hours. Wake up to ready-to-serve congee.
