  • No—our standard is no seed oils. We use.

    Primary cooking fats (heat-stable)

    • Grass-fed tallow

    • Grass-fed ghee (clarified butter)

    • Butter (pasture-raised when available)

    For sauté/medium heat + finishing

    • Extra virgin olive oil (mostly for finishing or low–medium heat)

  • No—no artificial dyes.

  • We prioritize protein-forward meals, produce daily, and balanced components for steady energy.

  • We collect allergy information and label carefully. Cross-contact may be possible depending on kitchen setup—see Allergens page.

  • We can align with nut-free guidelines when required. Availability depends on weekly menu and facility practices.

  • Yes. Pickup hub and delivery options are selected during checkout/ordering.

    Note: Pickup hubs are only available for kids lunch programs at this time. There must be a minimum of 3 families enrolled in the pickup hub in your area to be active. If the minimum is not met you we will deliver to your home and delivery fees will apply.

  • We’ll provide drop-off instructions and recommend a cooler bag when needed. Perfectly Thymed is not responsible for food temperatures after delivery.

  • We use practical, labeled containers chosen for reliability and low-tox priorities. Upgrades may include stainless or BPA-free silicone options.

  • Yes—submit the School Inquiry Form and we’ll share options based on your student count and policies.

  • Food is safe as long as it stays at or below 40°F. If food rises above 40°F for 2+ hours (or 1+ hour if outdoor temperatures exceed 90°F), it should be discarded.

  • Yes. Containers must be returned weekly at your scheduled exchange/drop-off. Missing containers may incur replacement fees and can impact future deliveries in the reusable program.

  • You’ll receive simple storage and reheating guidance with each delivery. In general, refrigerate promptly after delivery and reheat gently until hot.

  • Menus rotate weekly. You’ll receive a weekly menu preview and can share key preferences/allergies in your intake form so we tailor appropriately.

  • No. Perfectly Thymed provides supportive meals and general nourishment. For medical concerns, please consult your clinician and/or an IBCLC.
