First Thyme

baby’s first foods, made the way we make everything else

A little weekly tasting box of warm, ancestral first foods — cooked from scratch the same morning we cook for you.

  • When my own little one was ready for solids, I wanted the same thing I want for every family we nourish — nothing from a pouch, nothing from a shelf. Just warm, real, ancestral food, made from scratch the very morning I cook for you. So I made it. First Thyme is exactly that.

THE PLAN

First Tastes

  • For little ones 6 months & up

  • Five fresh tastings each week, Monday through Friday

  • Plus a week’s scratch bone broth for sipping & thinning

  • Delivered Sunday with your order — weekends stay yours

  • One simple monthly plan, billed like your family meals

Scratch bone broth for sipping & thinning

The same long-simmered broth from our soups, warm in a cup and stirred into every spoonful.

Whipped bone marrow

Slow-roasted and whipped silky — the gentle, good fats little ones are built on.

Chicken liver pâté

Our softest first introduction to iron, the nutrient babies need most at six months.

Soft duck egg yolk

Jammy and mashed from Belle Vie duck eggs — a tender first taste of egg.

Two little purées - rotating every couple of weeks

Pasture-raised meat slow-cooked with one vegetable and blended smooth with broth, turning over to introduce new flavors and the major allergens, gently and in turn.

WHAT’S IN THE BOX

Five little tastings

HOW IT WORKS

Simple, add on your rhythm

Add it to your week

Start any time your baby is six months and ready for solids. One monthly plan, alongside your meals.

We cook & deliver

Cooked fresh on our Saturday cook day and delivered Sunday, ready for the week ahead.

One taste a day

A new little tasting each weekday morning, with the favorites held steady so baby can grow to love them.

THE CARE BEHIND EVERY TASTE

Gentle, on purpose

Every taste is honey-free, with no added salt or sugar. We introduce new foods and the major allergens one at a time, in the morning, so you can watch in the daylight — always alongside your pediatrician’s guidance, never in place of it. We hold the favorites steady on purpose: it can take many gentle tries before a baby loves a new flavor, and we’re happy to wait with them.
